Yesterday I talked about one way couples choose to stay connected - writing notes.
Many times I hear a husband or wife say - "But I don't know what to write." or "I can't think of anything to say when I see that blank piece of paper or notecard."
To solve that problem, I found a special product. It's "thought cards" by Smiles Made Easy.
This young Canadian mom created little note cards with prompts like "You have a great way of ..." or "You make me happy when ..." or "My favorite thing about you is ...".
Their motto is - We start the thought. You finish it. It's never been so easy to say what you've always wanted!

Inside each tin: 15 Envelopes, 15 different - 3.2" X 3.9" - thought cards, and one index card.
The tins are small enough to slip into a purse or pocket and write one thought card while sitting at a stop light, or at the bathroom counter before bed to tuck one under your spouse's pillow!

With our being bombarded all the time (and specifically right now) with news of how bad our economy is, our politics, and the like, it really is time to stop and smell the roses. Lori, your idea to support smilesmadeeasy.com with your generous post is a great service.
As we never know when we will leave this life AND because we can't do anything about politics (except vote) or gas prices (being frugal in running around) or financial obstacles (create multiple sources of income), why not stay heads down on 1) telling your loved ones every day how much you love and appreciate them, 2) stay focused on your short and long term goals, and 3) encourage others to do these same things.
We know what to do with our time, but the big 'pull' to be part of the 'mass' has us forget what we know to do and get together and continue breeding ill-will about these subjects which simply exacerbates them.
Great ideas are usually simple ones.
